SigningHub user passwords can be reset at 3 levels:
- User Level
- Enterprise Admin Level
- SigningHub Admin Level
User Level
When a user doesn't remember their password, the option Forgot Password appears in the bottom right corner:
When selected this option, the user receives an email invite from SigningHub to reset their password.
When the given link in the email is clicked, the user is prompted with their previously made security question and should provide their answer to this question, as well as a new password (2 times to confirm).
When provided the correct answer and 2 times the same new password, the user is redirected to the login screen and can resume working in SigningHub.
Enterprise Admin Level
If by any chance the user does not remember his security answer, this can be bypassed by triggering a password reset through an enterprise admin.
An enterprise admin from this enterprise goes to Enterprise Settings > Users.
Search the account for which the password is lost and click on the three dots on the right of this user and select Reset Password.
An email will be sent to the user to reset their password. However this time a new security question and answer can be chosen:
When provided a new security question, security answer and 2 times the same new password, the user is redirected to the login screen and can resume working in SigningHub.
SigningHub Admin Level
A password reset can also be triggered from the SigningHub Admin console.
Go to Users and search for the account which password should be reset.
Click on the three dots on the right and select Reset Password.
The result of this execution is the same as a password reset from the enterprise admin level. A new security question, answer and password can be chosen.
When provided a new security question, security answer and 2 times the same new password, the user is redirected to the login screen and can resume working in SigningHub.
