Mediahaven 2.0 features
We have developed some exciting new features using the latest AI-technologies. Get to know them below! Please reach out to our sales team via sales@zeticon.com if you want to start using these new functionalities.
ai Semantic search
We are excited to introduce Semantic Search to MediaHaven. This powerful new feature enhances search functionality by going beyond simple keyword matching to understand the context and meaning of your queries.
Improved Search Accuracy: MediaHaven now delivers more relevant search results by interpreting the intent behind your search terms, even if exact keywords aren't present.
Smarter Results: With semantic search, related assets are surfaced based on concepts, synonyms, and the relationships between words, ensuring you find what you need faster.
Enhanced User Experience: This feature saves time by simplifying the search process, allowing users to locate specific assets with fewer, more intuitive searches.

AI Similarity search
We all know the hassle: you found the perfect image for your marketing campaign but you used it too many times already? Or are you working in HR and looking for all sick notes? Thanks to our similarity search, you can find in no time similar looking images and files to spice up your campaign or have the overview of all sick notes.
Similarity search is a a key enhancement to our intelligent information platform's data retrieval capabilities. With the increasing need to handle and search large volumes of data, traditional search methods are often insufficient.
Similarity Search allows users to retrieve objects based on their resemblance to a search object, rather than requiring an exact match. Unlike traditional keyword-based search methods, which work well when search queries are clearly defined, Similarity Search is designed to handle less precise queries and datasets that may be noisy or incomplete.
This new feature improves search effectiveness in scenarios where traditional methods fall short, offering more flexible and accurate results even when the data lacks clear or exact matches.

AI Metadata enrichment
Whether you’re uploading 5 or 5000 photos, manually adding metadata can be time-consuming. But that’s a thing of the past with our newest feature: automatic metadata enrichment or tagging with AI.
With this new functionality, our AI automatically adds relevant metadata to your uploaded assets, such as images, documents, emails, or spreadsheets. The AI analyses the content and generates useful tags and descriptions. Of course, you still have the option to adjust the generated metadata if needed.
Say goodbye to time-consuming tasks, your assets will be enriched more quickly and efficiently with this new feature!
Discover the benefits of this powerful feature in our blog.
AI Full-text search (OCR)
We’re excited to announce the integration of OCR (Optical Character Recognition) functionality into MediaHaven, making it easier than ever to manage and find text within your digital assets. With this new feature, MediaHaven can now automatically detect and extract text from images, PDFs, Office files and scanned documents.
Key benefits:
Enhanced searchability: Extracted text is indexed, allowing you to search for specific words or phrases within your assets.
Improved efficiency: No more manually transcribing content: OCR automates text extraction, saving you time and effort.
Greater accessibility: Quickly identify and retrieve text-based information from non-text files like images or scanned documents.
This new OCR feature streamlines your workflow, making your assets more searchable and accessible in MediaHaven.

Â
In cooperation with our customers, we keep enhancing our MediaHaven 2.0 product. We’ve continued the development of the following functionalities:
Improvements for the history page
The system now shows the user login in the 'Actor' column on the history page, which is a significant improvement for organisations using SSO to log in to MediaHaven. At a glance, you can easily see who uploaded, published, or made metadata changes to an object.
Admin users can edit default permissions of user groups
Admin users with access to the "Settings and Management" module and the "admin_groups" function can now modify the read, write, and edit permissions for user groups. This update allows admin users to have full control over rights management, a decision made to enhance their ability to manage user access more effectively.
Customize filters per page
It is now possible to customize filters for specific pages, making it easier to tailor their view based on specific needs. This functionality is available for the All Objects page, Concept page, Published page, Task List and in the Public Portal, allowing you to select a custom set of filters for each. This feature improves efficiency by providing quicker access to relevant data and can be easily adjusted to fit changing workflows or preferences.
Please contact our support team if you want to start using a specific configuration for your environment. They will be happy to help you.
Improved lay-outs for emails
When registering and approving new users, all emails sent from MediaHaven will now consistently be in the language chosen during user registration. Additionally, we've refreshed the email layout. Password reset and user registration emails are now fully aligned with MediaHaven’s branding and style.
Autosubmit items via the import module
If your organisation uses the import module, it’s now possible to directly submit items uploaded via your import projects. This makes it possible for content managers to immediately evaluate items uploaded via the import module.
Interested in this feature? Contact our support team. They will be happy to help you.
Register dossier transfers
Customers using MediaHaven as e-depot can now register transfers of dossiers to a permanent depot. After the transfer is approved, it’s possible to export a list with the transferred dossiers and documents. The metadata of transferred dossiers is still available for consultation in MediaHaven, the representations aren’t.
Improved performance
Our team is constantly enhancing the performance of the MediaHaven platform. In this release, we've concentrated on three key areas: search speed, quicker indexation of thesaurus fields and front end performance. There has been major improvements for loading times of the application. On top of that, performing a search is now quicker than ever. Finally, thesaurus indexation now requires much less memory, positively impacting the overall performance of our customers' MediaHaven environments.

Improvements
As with every release, we have made some improvements based on feedback from our end users. You can consult them below.
cover photos Setting cover photos is no longer limited to collections. Custom objects like ‘program’, ‘newspaper’, ‘newspaper page’, ‘serie’, ‘dossier’ or ‘project’ of the record type ‘media’ can now have a cover photo.
cover photos When a cover photo is deleted, the system now automatically selects a new one, ensuring that collections or object types (as mentioned above) always have a cover photo available.
restoring deleted items Restoring a deleted underlying item will also automatically restore its parent item. For example, if you restore a deleted email attachment, the corresponding email will be restored along with it.
configurable subfields It is now possible to decide which sub-fields to show in the UI for MapFields and MultiItemFields. This is the case on for example the ‘authors’ field. Please contact our support team if you want to use this for your organisation.
Improved UI If your internet connection is slow or MediaHaven account contains many filters, you may notice that the filters take longer to load. To improve your experience, we’ve added clear loading indicators that show the system is processing your request. This way, you’ll know when filters are being applied, reducing uncertainty during any delays.
improved UX A clear error message is available for the user when trying to publish a ‘media’ record, for example an email that has invalid attachments.
Improved UI Users can now sort objects in collections in contents order.
downloads It’s now possible to set the original file name when performing a direct download of an item. Please contact our support team if you want to use this setting for your organisation.
