When one has issues with the KeySign Connector, try reinstalling it and installing the most recent version.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Go to Start > control panel > Programs > Uninstall a program.
  2. Select KeySign connector and click Uninstall.
  3. When this version uninstalled successfully, go to windows explorer and enable hidden items by selecting the View tab and enabling the checkbox next to Hidden Items.
  4. go to the following folder:

    C:\Users\<your user>\AppData\Local\
  5. Delete the entire folder called KeySignConnector.
  6. Go to the KeySignConnector test page: https://connector.keysign.eu/
  7. Click Start.
  8. The following prompt will appear:
     
  9. Select the right download for your computer and install this version.

Testing the installed version

  1. After installation, wait a few minutes for the KeySign Connector to initialize.
  2. Refresh the page https://connector.keysign.eu/
  3. Insert your eID into an smart card reader and connect this to the computer.
  4. Click again on Start.
  5. If successful, the following screen should look like this:
