Manage organisation preferences and defaults

From now on, the admin user of the organisation can manage the preferences and defaults for new users of that organisation. This may be useful when new users register themselves via the portal or login page. The admin user is able to set a default role, manage the rights, language and pagination preferences of new users. Next to those preferences, the admin user can also define the ingest zones and usergroups to which new users should belong.

, our team has been working on many steps towards zero downtime deployments. In the future, this will ensure that there is less to no downtime during an upgrade.

Besides working on zero downtime deployments, we also worked on maintenance and safety. This way, we ensure that security remains guaranteed.

As with every release, we have made some improvements based on feedback from our end users. You can consult them below.

    The system users are now displayed in the list of users. This allows the organisation’s admin user to have a complete overview of all users within the organisation/environlent. Those system users can not be edited or deleted.

    We have added additional validation while editing a thesaurus suggestion. From now on, you cannot include a value in the thesaurus that consists only of whitespaces.

Bug fixes

  • [MH2.0] We’ve fixed a bug when editing a user in the module ‘Settings and management'. When editing the user, the previously selected settings and rights are now displayed again.

  • [MH2.0] A problem occured when using multiple ‘exclude’ values in the advanced search. This has been fixed.

  • [MH2.0] A user with the ‘viewer’ role was not able to share his/hers selection due to a missing right. From now on, a user with the ‘viewer’ role can share the selection.

  • [MH2.0] The autoplay feature when generating an embed code of a video or collection was broken and is now fixed.

  • [MH2.0] New users created through SingleSignOn do automatically get a default role assigned from this version.
