Step-by-step guide

Before getting started you have to make sure you have the eID Viewer software installed on your computer:

  1. Plug in your eID-reader with you ID-card.

  2. Open eID Viewer and click on the Certificates Tab:
  3. Right-click on the root certificate for the option 'Detailed Information'. Click through to continue.
  4. In the Certificate pop-up window, go to the tab 'Details' and scroll to find the public key-type:

    RSAECC
