Metadata Formats

Introduction

MediaHaven supports a wide range of metadata formats to represent objects both during ingest and export of objects.

For Intellectual Objects or Data Objects with non-representation children, a range of METS formats includes the metadata of all their grandchildren
When exporting Intellectual Objects, the Metadata Formats | METS_MHS_TREE is automatically selected when no metadata format is provided in the request.
