Introduction

These functions give users possibilities in the MediaHaven 2.0 front-end.

Users

  • These functions are intended to be given to regular users.

  • API users do not require these functions

Functions

In addition to the functions in the table below the users also need the Functions for Accessing Records.

SUBMIT_MEDIA

  • When the metadata for an object is valid, you can submit it.

  • It will then be evaluated by a user with that permission

  • Also allows the user to correct an object

 

EVALUATE_MEDIA

  • Evaluate an object that has been submitted.

  • You can choose to ‘return an object for correction’ if need be.

 

PUBLISH_MEDIA

Publish a media object as described in [21.1] - Publiceren

 

PUBLISH_RIGHTS

  • MediaHaven 2.0 users require this function when they require PUBLISH_MEDIA

  • This requirement could be dropped in a future release

  • Not needed when the RecordType is a helper RecordType

    • Non-helper record types: Classification, MH2Collection and Record

    • Helper record types: Selection, ThesaurusSuggestion

 

THESAURUS_SUGGESTIONS_SUBMIT

  • Required for evaluating suggestion concept for a thesaurus as described in [21.3] - Thesaurus
