Ingest Flows

Introduction

Ingest allows for adding new items to the system. Over time ingest into MediaHaven has evolved into multiple forms of ingest. The normal form of ingest is through [21.2] - Media opladen in the MediaHaven 2.0 front-end. API users can interact with the MediaHaven REST API to upload records. Advanced installations have direct access to Watchfolders to upload files over FTP.
