Zeticon is proud to present version 23.1 of the DigiHaven platform, including the serieregister application, e-depot application and the analogue depot management module. Please read more info about the new functionalities, improvements and fixed bugs below.

Features

In cooperation with our customers, we keep enhancing our products. We’ve continued the development of following functionalities:

Expand the search results using the new filter parameter 'OR'

From now on, filters are configurable to be able to select multiple values at once. This will cause the system to see these different values as an ‘OR’ relationship and thus allow you to expand rather than refine your search results. Our Zeticon services team can help you to configure the necessary filter(s).

Manage users and security groups in the new module ‘Settings and management’

In addition to our standard applications, we have developed a new web-based module in which all settings can be managed. This module is already used in MediaHaven, but is now also activated for the E-depot application. From now on you can create new users, change existing users and delete them via the management application. The management of security groups is also available in this new module.

Improvements

As with every release, we have made some improvements based on feedback from our end users. You can consult them below.

  • Serieregister The processing of bulk importing series was improved. Users can now view all errors that occur during data validation of series at once.

  • E-depot We have added a link to the manual on the e-depot application dashboard. This link takes the user to Zeticon's general documentation page.

  • E-depot The speed of processing a sip import with a dossier that has over 10 000 documents is improved.

  • Depot management Within the depot management application, we have removed the list for packaging units in quarantine. This allows the user to search for a packaging unit from one single list regardless of its status. Using the filter on status, the user can quickly and easily search for all packaging units in quarantine.

Bug fixes

  • [E-depot] Manually uploaded files with a 0byte size are no longer processed. This was already the case when uploading through sip import.

  • [E-depot] When downloading a dossier that contains special characters in the name (Like / \ : * ? “ < > |), these characters are filtered out of title. This to make sure that downloading does not fail.

  • [E-depot] Documents with failed access representation get the status ‘Rejected’ instead of ‘Processed (Invalid)’.

  • [E-depot] When the transformation of TIFF images fails, the document get the status ‘Rejected’.

  • [E-depot] The entered search is saved after opening the detailpage or when refreshing the page.

  • [Serieregister] When viewing the detail page of a bulk import of series, there was always a notification. This notification is no longer visible when all processes are finished.

  • [Serieregister] [E-depot] The URIs have been fixed so you end up on the detail page of the item instead of a blank page when copying the URI and pasting it in a new tab.
