Features

In cooperation with our customers, we keep enhancing our products. We’ve continued the development of following functionalities:

Open a serie, dossier or document in a new tab and navigate through the results

You can now easily open a serie, dossier or document in a new tab by using the right-click and ‘open in new tab’ functionality. It’s also easy from now on to navigate through search results from the detail page of an object by using the functionalities at the top of the screen.

Filter a result list on creation date of a document

The filter on creation date of a document is available for all pages where documents are shown in the results. The filter allows to refine the search results based on the creation date of the documents.

Improved guidance in the advanced search

From now on in the advanced search only the fields that are matching with the objects on that specific list are shown. Next to that, you now get a drop-down list of choices when it comes to a metadata field with fixed options defined. For other fields such as authors, you will get an autocomplete after entering a few letters. This optimises the user experience.

Improvements

As with every release, we have made some improvements based on feedback from our end users. You can consult them below.

  • It is now possible to navigate to the saved search query from the list of all saved searches.

  • You’ll now see an information message in the employee portal when a document is destructed.

  • The available filters in the list of series on the public portal are modified.

  • The sort labels for dates are improved in the applications.

  • We use consistent date formats in the applications.

  • The columns in the request and download list of the employee portal are aligned with each other.

  • The comment in the history tab when extending the retention period of an object is made more human readable.

Bug fixes

  • [E-depot] The action to view dossiers from an imported zip is now working again.

  • [E-depot] The name of the documents included in the import excel is no longer overwritten by the path.

  • [E-depot] Clicking the link to a serie from the header of a dossier no longer redirects to the dashboard of the Serieregister application.

  • [E-depot] It’s again possible to delete saved searches.

  • [Serieregister] Add and delete an extension works as expected now.

  • [Serieregister] The link to open series imported via ZIP is again displaying the series.

  • [Serieregister] [E-depot] Filter “Taken tonen” in the task list is fixed.

  • [Serieregister] The name of the ApprovedBy for series that are approved by the system (by-pass selection commission) is fxed.

  • [Employee portal] Login with ACM/IDM does work again.

  • [Public portal] The headers of the VO styling are fixed on the production environment of the public portal.

  • [Public portal] The alert “Document niet openbaar” is no longer displayed on all objects.
