Ingest 1.5 Configuration

Introduction

The following offers an overview of configuring how ingested items are transformed from the original to one or more browses using a hybrid combination of workflows and transcode jobs.

Preview Configuration

It uses encodings to configure the transformation into one or more browses
Encodings are visible in the https://mediahaven.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CS/pages/64258058 under MediaHaven > Encodings.

Storage Selection

The https://mediahaven.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CS/pages/20643843 on which to store the original and browses are determined by

Type	Storage pool selection (cascade, first matching rule applies)
