Release notes version 22.2
Zeticon is proud to present version 22.2 of the MediaHaven platform. Please read more info about the new functionalities, improvements and fixed bugs below.
Mediahaven 2.0 features
In cooperation with our customers, we keep enhancing our MediaHaven 2.0 product. We’ve continued the development of following functionalities:
Map view of all objects with an address
In addition to the grid and list view, you now have the option of displaying all objects on a map. Please note that these are of course only objects to which an address is actually linked in the metadata.
Recover objects from the trash can
When a user deletes one or more objects, they end up in the trash can. An admin user with a specific user function can access the trash can and recover those items so they are again available for the other users. The items return to the phase from which they were removed.
Share multiple objects in bulk
Earlier, it was already possible to share the unique link to one object with another user within the same MediaHaven environment. From now on, this will also be possible for multiple objects. The system will then make a “selection” object and the recipient of the unique link will arrive at the selection page where he will see all the objects to which he has read access.
Create a public link to a saved search query
If you want to show or share all results of a certain search with the public (non-logged-in users), you can now copy a unique and public link of the saved search. This link can be placed on the intranet or on a website so that non-logged-in users can consult the results of that search. Attention, the public portal has to be activated for this.

Improvements
After feedback from our customers who tested Mediahaven2.0, we’ve introduced some improvements.
Upload From now on, if you have uploaded a duplicate object, the upload list will contain a link to the already existing object.
Upload After uploading, the items are immediately visible on the concept page. Via the filter 'Object status', you can consult the items that are still being processed. The processing list has been deleted to avoid confusion.
Upload If something goes wrong during processing, the status of the object will be shown in red on the draft page and you can consult the error message via the actions. Via the actions in the error message pop-up, you can also create an e-mail to pass on the error to the MediaHaven administrator within your organisation.
Download When downloading a sample file, a download is now actually performed in your browser. Previously, the file was opened in a separate tab of the browser.
Download When downloading one or more original files, you can now choose to perform an immediate download or a transformation on the files.
When you download directly, the download will appear at the bottom of your browser after a while.
When performing a transformation, you can consult the download in the download list.
Download From now on, you have one action "Download" in the bulk actions. After choosing the action, you still have the choice to start from the sample files or the originals.
The action “Get embed code” is no longer visible when the public portal is not activated on your MediaHaven environment.
The view of long titles has been improved in the grid view and on the detail page. Long titles are now shortened and the three dots at the end indicate that a part of the title is not shown. If you hover the mouse over the title, the full title is displayed in a tooltip.
The number of values to be shown additionally when clicking on "Show more" in the filter is now configurable. This was already the case for filters in the old MediaHaven, but is now also available for filters in MH2.0.
