Special Groups

Introduction

In order to facilitate the Rights Management, the system assigns a number of special permissions to records. Auto-assigned permissions can never be removed or filled out differently because the system overwrites them under the hood.

Administrator	Provide administrator users with full access to all records of their organisation	One per organisation Auto-assigned with read, write and export rights to all records of the organisation
Zone	Provide members of the zone full access to records uploaded in the zone during the concept phase	Each of the Zones has a linked zone group Auto-assigned with read, write and export rights to all unpublished records uploaded in this zone All members of the zone are automatically member of the zone group
Public	Determine which records are visible in the portal and can be used for Embedding	One per organisation Portals make requests using the public user who is only member of the public group By assigning a record a permission with the public group (read right), it becomes visible in the portal
